Ingredients
- Handful of Organic Salad Mix
- 6 to 8 pieces cherry tomatoes
- Crushed nuts or mixed beans (may choose accordingly to own preference: almond, cashew nut, hazelnut, macadamia, walnut, etc)
- Any types of fruits (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon of peanut butter (or any nuts butter, almond butter, cashew butter, hazelnut butter) to taste
- Balsamic vinaigrette for dressing
Method of Preparing
Place the salad mix, cherry tomatoes, and chopped fruits in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and season with the balsamic vinaigrette according to your own taste. Finally, add the nuts. Gently mix well till it's well seasoned. And the delicious green bites are ready to be served.
This colorful salad is an excellent healthy snacks option for children, it is also suitable for those who are always on the go. For those who may not like it just with the greens, you can also add some meat and pasta to make it even more delicious and flavourful.
